Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC) assist the ordinary ministers of Holy Communion (priests and deacons) by distributing the consecrated bread and wine during the celebration of Mass. 

All Saints EMHCs also bring the Eucharist to the sick, homebound and others unable to attend mass. We currently serve many nursing homes and hosptials, including:

• Countryside Healthcare Center
• Freedom Inn
• Harbor Chase
• Horizon Bay
• Palm Gardens
• Westchester Gardens
• Mease Countryside Hospital

EMHCs must attend a special training program hosted by the Diocese of St. Petersburg, which educates attendees on practical issues, as well as the theology of the Eucharist.
